How can lighting change the mood of a room?

● Warm light = cozy, relaxing. ● Cool light = bright, energizing. ● Layered lighting (ambient, task, accent) creates depth and flexibility.

What colour temperature should I choose?

● Warm white (2700–3000K) → Relaxed, cozy feel ● Neutral white (4000K) → Balanced and natural ● Cool white/daylight (5000–6500K) → Bright

What’s the difference between indoor and outdoor lights?

● Indoor lights designed to create mood and atmosphere within a space. Indoor lighting creates a house into a home. Fittings are not weatherproof and not suitable to withstand the element. ● Outdoor lights can create mood in outdoor living space or highlight facades, landscaping and/or gardens. They are designed with higher IP ratings to withstand rain, dust, and temperature changes.

How do I choose the right light for my space?

● Consider purpose (task vs mood), brightness needed, colour temperature, and style. ● Do you want to focus on something specific in the space? - Lighting can also be used to enhance the architecture of a space or highlight features.
